SpeakOut starts

On June 25th, next Thursday, SpeakOut camp will start. This evangelistic English camp lasts until July 29th. We'll have 36 Americans to come and help to teach English to about 400 non-Christian students who are coming from all over the country to spend weeks with us. We'll have over 50 Hungarian Christian students from YTL who are qualified to be a student-staff on the camp (every student staff had to go through an application process). This will be the first time that we'll have more Hungarian student staff to help and lead the camp than Americans.
What will we do at the camp?
1. Americans will teach English to the non-Christian campers and through that they'll share the gospel with them individually, in small groups and in large group outreaches.
2. Almost every afternoon we'll have evangelism on the beach organized and led by the Hungarian student staff.
3. In the mornings we'll have English classroom lectures for the non-Christian campers and we'll have discipleship groups, teachings, Bible-study groups, personal discipleship times with the 50+ Hungarian student staff and also with the American helpers.
4. Each week will have a special evangelistic outreach night for the city of Keszthely where we'll have the camp.
5. We'll send a group of student staff to Romania and another group to Albania for a short week to do evangelism there as part of SpeakOut. We want to grow the students mission focus and help them to develop a world-wide vision.
6. We'll have lot of fun activities for the students: sport afternoon, American culture night, staff hunt, etc.
7. We'll have special worship and teaching times for the student staff (both Hungarians and Americans).
How to pray for us?
1. Pray for safety for all the campers - no broken bones.
2. Pray for saved lives - most of the campers are non-believers.
3. Pray that each student staff and all of our staff would walk in the Spirit and that we would be a living testimony, too.
4. Pray for health for everybody. In this month over 500 people we'll share a dorm in this camp.
5. Pray that this time would be a great growth in the personal walk with the Lord for our students. The excitement of the students are so wonderful.
6. Pray that as we share Christ on the beach, in the city and in the camp each gospel presentation would be bold and clear.
