Dear Praying Friends,
God is unusually blessed this year's SpeakOut camp. For the 2nd and 3rd week we had to close down registration because there were no more space in the dorm to accept more students. The camp has a fantastic atmosphere and dynamic. The non-Christian camper students are mostly spending time with the American tutors (volunteers from the U.S.), but also with the Hungarian student staff as well. For the Hungarian student staff we have special discipleship programs, bible-studies and in the afternoons we go out sharing as well they minister and share with the campers, too. There are small groups everywhere in the camp. Evangelism and discipleship saturates the whole outreach. This morning, after the discipleship course some students came up to us and said that they would like to stay here forever. God is truly present here and students' lives are changing.
The Hajni-profile.
Remember Hajni (she is in the picture)? Exactly a year ago she came to SpeakOut as a camper. She prayed to receive Christ on the 2nd week of the camp on Tuesday afternoon. On Tuesday nights we have worship time - anyone can come, even non-Christian students if they want to. There she told Edina that a few hours before she accepted Christ. She remained faithful and joined to one of the discipleship group in the ministry. Now, a year later she came as a student staff to serve for a whole month in the camp and she is going out most of the afternoons sharing Christ at the beach. She is the "prototype" of the 60 Hungarian student staff who are serving at the camp: a lost student became a fruitful laborer of Christ! That's the heart of our ministry!
Please, keep praying for the camp!
On Sunday I'll give a very important talk to our student leaders about our future direction and vision. Pray for wisdom and godly guidance as we dream about what God could do in and through this group of people!
